A large marine diesel engine opened for overhaul in a bright workshop

Propulsion engineering in Gosport · attending across the south coast and the Med

From the injector
to the propeller tip.

A vibration at nineteen knots is not an engine problem or a shaft problem or a propeller problem. It is one problem, and it gets solved by the people who are willing to measure all three rather than replace the cheapest.

  • Alignment measured cold and hot
  • Propellers scanned, not eyeballed
  • Sea trial before we invoice

What we do

The whole driveline, measured end to end

How we work

Four habits that separate diagnosis from replacement

01

We measure before we open anything

Oil analysis, vibration signature and cylinder pressures cost a day and routinely show the overhaul is not due. Stripping first and measuring afterwards is how a good engine becomes an expensive one.

02

The driveline is one system

Engine, mounts, gearbox, shaft, bearings and propeller. Replace a propeller to cure a vibration that came from a soft mount and you will buy a second propeller.

03

Hot readings, afloat

Alignment done cold on the hard is a starting point, not an answer. We come back when she is in the water and at temperature, which is the condition she actually runs in.

04

We sea trial before invoicing

The job is not finished when the tools are packed. It is finished when the vessel has been through the speed range with instruments on and the numbers are in the report.

An engineer measuring a propeller blade on a workshop floor

“Twelve years of a vibration everybody blamed on the propellers, and two sets of new ones to prove it. These put accelerometers on it, found a soft engine mount and a bearing out of line, and fixed it in a week. It has been smooth since.”

About this page

Everything above is a demonstration

The business, the listings and the reviews are invented — this page exists to show what someone could put on superyachtpropellers.com. The domain itself is genuinely for sale.

Domain for sale

superyachtpropellers.com is available

You are looking at a demonstration, not a real business. We built it to show what this domain could carry — the company, the stock and the reviews are invented.

  1. 1

    Make an enquiry

Tell us who you are and what you would use it for. It costs nothing and puts you under no obligation.

  2. 2

    Agree a price

We reply with a price or consider your offer. Most conversations are settled within a couple of working days.

  3. 3

    Pay into escrow

Funds go to a licensed third-party escrow agent, never straight to us. They hold the money until the transfer is confirmed.

  4. 4

    Take ownership

We push the authorisation code to your registrar. You control the domain, usually within a week; escrow then releases the funds.

The demonstration site is not part of the sale by default — but if you want it, say so in your enquiry and we will include the source.
